Where and when does it take place?
Tuesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am UK time on Zoom (online).
What happens in the class :
The objective of each class is to get you to speak as much as possible.
Develop your fluency in French naturally through self-directed activities completed before each lesson and conversations in groups of 2-3 people. You will receive help and advice from a qualified and native French teacher with 18 years of experience.
A week before the class, practice at your own pace, through authentic videos, readings and interactive exercises. You will be given tasks to prepare for the conversations. Independent activities to do in advance of each class will help you to develop autonomy and consolidate learning.
The live online classes are devoted to oral practice, problem solving and discussion.
Experimenting with your use of the language or making mistakes is encouraged and is seen as an important part of the learning process.
There are no formal examinations and no textbooks.

Who is it for?
This class if for you:
- if you have reached the level B1+ or above,
- if you want to learn French as it’s spoken in the real world,
- if you want to improve your speaking /listening abilities in a friendly and stimulating environment.
What you will need:
- A stable internet connection,
- Zoom software (it is free to download here),
- A basic IT knowledge (i.e. being able to click on a link, to save a document, etc.)
- A headset, so you can hear and be heard clearly (background noise or sound quality will affect your contribution to the conversations),
- A built-in or plug-in webcam,
- Some paper and a pen.

Next term starting date for Lower Advanced Level Group : Tuesday 10th January 2024 on Zoom at 9.30 am (UK time).
Fees:
Full academic year: £360 for 2 hours / week over 30 weeks.
One term: £130 for 2 hours / week over 10 weeks.
